NEWARK â Authorities are investigating after a woman was found dead near a home on S. 20th Street Monday night, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray's office confirmed. Initial reports that a body had been found came in shortly after 9 p.m., Chief Assistant Prosecutor Thomas Fennelly said.
