NEWARK â Authorities have identified the man killed in a shooting in the city Wednesday night. DeShawn Judson, 29, of Newark, was shot at around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Kenmore Ave., acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose said in a joint press release Thursday.
