NEWARK -- One man is dead after a Friday night shooting in Newark's South Ward, Katherine Carter, a spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office confirmed. Stephan Vaughn, 31, of Newark was fatally shot in the area of Elizabeth and Pomona avenues around 10:30 p.m., authorities said.
