WASHINGTON â More flights will be allowed at Newark Airport as the Federal Aviation Administration removes its caps on takeoffs and landings. The FAA said Friday that it would remove the limits that have been in effect at Newark since 2008 in an effort to reduce delays in the region. The airport had been limited to 81 flights an hour.
